Entry requirements

You must have completed:

  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) specialisation, or,
  • CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) specialisation, or,
  • CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set

It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a school certificate or equivalent.

Work placement

  • 40 hours of mandatory work placement are required to complete this course

  • Statement of Attainment (if student is found competent in at least 1 Unit of Competence)

Pathways

After achieving this qualification, you may undertake:

  • CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services

A total of 10 units are required to complete this qualification; seven (7) core and three (3) elective units. Entry requirements may vary dependent on unit selection and delivery method.
