Course Information
The transition from peer to a leadership position can be a difficult one. New managers and supervisors are often high individual performers but are ill-equipped with the new set of skills and behaviours required to effectively drive business outcomes through a team.
The New Leader Blended Digital Delivery short course provides you with the foundational knowledge and skills to effectively make the transition into becoming a new leader. With a focus on effective communication, team building and functional workplace management, you will learn the tools and techniques you need to get started in your management career, both to manage yourself and to lead others.
3 Virtual Sessions Across 3 Weeks
A Structured Journey Over Multiple Weeks
The program alternates between self-paced online learning and live facilitated sessions, giving you a structured pathway to progressively build your capability.
When the scheduled program is complete, your online modules remain available for six months so you can return to the learning and reinforce key concepts when needed.
Self-Paced Learning | 60 – 90 minutes per week
Complete an interactive online module each week, exploring key concepts, reflecting on your current and future capabilities, behaviours and approaches, and responding to realistic workplace scenarios.
Live Facilitated Sessions | 2 hours per week
Join a live virtual session to debrief the online learning, explore different perspectives and experiences and deepen your understanding through contemporary facilitation and group coaching techniques.
