Tackle bigger and more rewarding challenges with our CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
If you feel you’re ready to tackle bigger and more rewarding challenges and start your own building business, then our Diploma building courses will help get you there.
Throughout the course, you will learn the professional skills and knowledge required for the management, supervision and administration of residential, industrial and commercial building projects up to three stories.
We can offer you a Diploma of Building and Construction online or in-person, whether you’re in Melbourne or elsewhere in Australia. Our flexible learning environments grant you the skills you need to excel whilst instructing you on how to supervise and manage construction work.
Your study will be part-time two nights per week and run between 45- 58 weeks depending on your level of experience in the industry. You will be expected to commit to 7 hours of allocated class time and up to 8 hours or more of assessment completion outside of class each week.
We can offer you a Diploma of Building and Construction online through our virtual classroom or in-person depending on your location and requirements.
Among other things, you’ll learn how to:
- Apply, monitor and supervise construction work for medium rise building projects
- Identify, produce and monitors costs for building and construction projects
- Recruit and manage staff and building and construction contractors
- Supervise and apply quality standards

Eligibility
Prior to enrolment students must demonstrate sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills.
Curriculum
Assessment combines classroom participation, observation, practical and written presentation and self-paced exercises online in the students’ own time. They will also be assessed on the development of a portfolio of evidence throughout the duration of the course.
