Upon completion of this course you will be able to:
Identify and describe common cyber threats including phishing, malware and social engineering
Recognise red flags in scam emails, texts and phone calls
Apply essential security measures such as two-factor authentication, robust password practices and safe internet usage
Configure privacy and security settings on devices and accounts
Understand the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) and its role in
cybersecurityRecognise the risks posed by insider threats and their prevention
Back up important data and respond to cyber incidents
Report cybersecurity incidents appropriately, including to relevant Australian agencies
This course is designed for non-technical professionals across all industries who want to learn essential cybersecurity practices and skills to stay safe online, avoid cyber threats, and confidently contribute to a more secure workplace
