Course Information
This nationally recognised SHB40121 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy is designed to transform you into a fully qualified beauty therapist. You will learn how to perform a variety of treatments including facials, make-up, nail enhancements, lash extensions, massage, waxing, tanning lash lifting and nails.

- Course duration: The duration for the course is maximum 18 months. As a self-paced online course, the time it will take you to complete is flexible and dependent on ability and time available
- Recommended hours per week: 21h
During this course, you’ll learn how to perform facial and body treatments, waxing, and nail services, as well as the art of make-up application, and other specialist treatments, such as eyelash extension procedures. You will also learn how to recommend skincare products and cosmetics.
Whether you have some salon experience or you’re wanting to launch a career in beauty, this custom designed course will train you to deliver a full range of services as a professional beauty therapist.
If you are an existing worker or have experience in the related industry, please inform our enrolment consultants during your enrolment conversation. You may be eligible to enrol as an existing worker and complete your studies faster. Please note – limitations do apply.

This course does not require specific formal education qualifications. However, you must be a minimum of 18 years old to enrol.
