- Learn how to identify and understand the anatomy and physiology of both the mare’s and stallion’s reproductive tract and the physical characteristics, which are preferable for a successful broodmare and breeding stallion. You will also explore and compare different ways of breeding horses and discuss common fertility problems that can occur in a mare and stallion
